Supplier Diversity Program

Supplier Diversity Program

The LVVWD strives to make bidding on
contracts feasible for all vendors.

The Las Vegas Valley Water District strives to make bidding on contracts feasible for all vendors, especially small, minority, women-owned and disadvantaged businesses (S/M/W/DBE). We're committed to supporting these businesses and have developed a supplier diversity program to help cultivate their growth and opportunities.

Supplier Diversity Strategy

Increasing supplier diversity can provide many benefits for the community and the organization. To achieve success for the organization, we seek innovative and environmentally conscious business professionals to bring us products and ideas that increase efficiency, reduce costs and promote higher levels of sustainability. In turn, the local community benefits from economic growth and opportunity.

See our Events and Outreach page for a list of outreach efforts and upcoming events that help vendors learn how to do business with us.

In 2002, the Water District received the Small Business Administration's Freedom Award for its assistance of S/M/W/DBE businesses.
